MANTA SNORKEL SAFARI ON THE OUTER REEF

EXPERIENCE SWIMMING WITH THE MANTA RAYS ON THE SOUTHERN GREAT BARRIER REEF IN THE BUNKER GROUP OF ISLANDS


An adventure option for experienced snorkelers and confident swimmers wanting to have unclose encounters with the Manta Rays of the Southern Great Barrier Reef. 


A Master Reef guide or one of our Marine Biologists will guide the snorkel experience and provide in-depth information on how to safely interact with these majestic marine animals.  This is your chance to experience some of the more remote and least accessible snorkel locations on the outer reef of Lady Musgrave Island as well as other Islands in the Bunker group on the Southern Great Barrier Reef.  This experience is suitable for those that are fit and confident swimmers as well as have previous experience snorkelling. 

Boarding at 7:15am at the Bundaberg Port Marina, Burnett Heads, cruise in style on our luxury catamaran "Reef Empress" and enjoy morning tea as we make our way to the pristine Lady Musgrave Reef lagoon.  Once you arrive into the lagoon transfer to our dive vessel Underworld for departure to surrounding islands & outer reefs.  Morning tea will be served onboard Reef Empress in the morning as well as lunch when you return to Reef Empress before departing back to Bundaberg Port Marina from your outer reef snorkel.  A light afternoon tea served and arriving back to the marina at 5:30pm.
  

Please note -

*  Wetsuit hire is not included - please select this as an extra if you wish to hire a wetsuit for the day.  

*  Snorkel equipment hire is included however you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

*  Some public holidays attract public holiday surcharge.

* Experience is required and participants should be confident swimmers and physically fit to participate in this activity.  Snorkelling and Medical Waivers are required to be completed for this activity.
