BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

One third of a cubic metre of gear per person is allocated/included in your transfer cost. A (one) 20L container of water per person is also included in your transfer cost outside of your gear allocation. Your gear is easily measured with our campers’ trolley, which is exactly one third of a cubic metre, that will come in handy for you to transfer your gear to and from your car to our vessel.

Should you have excess gear/equipment you will be charged accordingly. Our crew will monitor and identify any excess gear upon loading.
We have very limited space onboard to accommodate extra gear. Should you require extra gear allocation you MUST confirm this with the bookings crew prior to your loading date, we reserve the right to deny loading of excess gear, if not given notice, as we may not have the storage space on board a busy tour day.

Lady Musgrave Experience operates in a green zone, therefore we do not allow ANY fishing equipment to be transported on any of our vessels.

EQUIPMENT STOWAGE

REEF EMPRESS CAMPING TRANSFER PROCEDURE

Due to unpredictable vessel movements, weather, and limited space on board it is important that all your equipment is packed securely and safely. Please follow our guidelines below to ensure efficient loading and off-loading.

  • All gear packed in soft duffle type bags or plastic containers; this also includes items like gas bottles and cooking equipment. Milk crates are a good

option for gas bottles and cooking equipment

  • Do not load more than 20kgs per bag/container

  • Mark all items clearly with your name

  • Tape together loose items such as poles and table legs

  • Ensure bag zips are closed and in good condition and containers lids are secure

  • Additional equipment such as gas fridges, kayaks, surfboards, etc. incur additional charges (see price list) and must be listed on your booking form.

Please note we currently are not able to transfer small boats such as a dinghy or tinny, but we are able to transfer inflatable dinghies if they’re deflated for travel.

    EQUIPMENT AND BAGGAGE LOADING
